Week 2 of the 2019/20 TIO NTFL finals for the Men's and Women's Premier League divisions have been scheduled.
After their convincing Qualifying Final victory in Men's Premier League last Saturday, St Mary’s will face ladder-leaders Nightcliff in Semi Final 2 on Saturday evening with the winner earning a week off and progressing through to the Grand Final on March 14.
The loser will get another chance to avenge the loss when it faces the winner of Semi Final 1 in the Preliminary Final next week.
In Semi Final 1, Southern Districts will face off against Tiwi Bombers with the winner to progress to the Preliminary Final and the loser eliminated.
Districts will be full of confidence following their convincing win over Darwin Buffaloes in last week’s Elimination Final, while the Bombers will be looking to bounce back from last week’s loss to the Saints.
In the Women's Premier League; Southern Districts will be aiming to maintain their momentum following their upset win over Waratah last week when they meet Darwin Buffettes in Semi Final 1 on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Waratah will face off against the in-form PINT in Semi Final 2.
The winners of both matches will meet each other in the Grand Final next week, while the losers will be eliminated.
