The Northern Territory will have two representatives with Calista Boyd and Jasmyn Hewett at the 2017 NAB AFL Women’s Draft Combine in Melbourne this week.
On a local level, over sixty thousand Territorians are directly involved with the game per capita the Northern Territory has the highest participation rates across Australia.
Each year the AFL recognises volunteers/administrators for their outstanding contribution to Australian Football through the State/Territory Volunteer of the Year program and by providing AFL Merit Awards.
After taking into account overwhelming club feedback and consensus on club priorities, the league has aligned club fixtures across the different divisions in back to back timeslots where possible and has also scheduled fewer late night starts on Saturdays.
AFL Northern Territory was proud to host year 2 – 3 students from 11 different local primary schools came together for a day of footy fun during this year’s Cracka Cup.
