The 2017 NAB Women’s Draft Combine will assess the strength and fitness levels of the 47 athletes that have been selected to participate ahead of the NAB AFL Women’s Draft on October 18.

The combine is the final piece in the NAB Women’s Rising Star program.

AFLNT High-Performance Manager Wally Gallio is excited for local talent to be a part of the inaugural Women’s Draft Combine.

“It is a great opportunity for our Territory women to be put on the national stage and a real credit to both Boyd and Hewett who have put in the effort to get to where they are.

“Northern Territory’s representative at the women’s combine is a positive step for the future of women’s football,” Gallio said

From the combine, the eight AFLW clubs will have the opportunity to interview the players prior to possible selection at this year’s draft.
