The action began with Eastside delivering a decisive victory over the Camels, fueled by a dominant performance in the second half. Jayde De La Coeur led the charge for Eastside, supported by captain Kaleishia Ross and vice-captain Charlee Byers, who all played pivotal roles in securing the win. Despite a valiant effort from the Camels, highlighted by influential players like Alex Antonio and Grace Senior, Eastside's four-goal third quarter sealed the game.
Meanwhile, the Arnhem Crows soared to a remarkable 132-point triumph over their opponents. Ammeretta Wesan's stellar performance, including four goals, earned her best on ground honors, while Georgina Runyu's six-goal haul underscored the team's dominance. Vice-captain Harriet Rowe stood out for Katherine South despite the tough result, showcasing her resilience and skill.
In the men's division, the Camels strengthened their position at the top of the ladder with a commanding performance. Tristan Warner's early three-goal burst set the tone, supported by a stellar display from TIO NTFL Waratah star Scott Carlin. However, the match was cut short at halftime due to an unfortunate injury, leaving the outcome as it was at halftime.
Meanwhile, the Crows faced a crucial showdown against the Bombers, securing a vital victory with a decisive five-goal third quarter. The match started as a tight contest, with only two points separating the sides at halftime. However, the Crows unleashed in the third quarter, building a comfortable 26-point lead by the final change. Cassien Sambono's four-goal performance was pivotal, supported by Abraham Henry's three goals and Connor McDonald's impactful contributions. Despite efforts from Garrak's Tyrese Raymond and Tyson Cronin, the Bombers fell short.
In another matchup, the Swans embarked on a lengthy 559-kilometer journey to Lajamanu, where they battled Gurindji in a fiercely competitive game. The Swans' persistence paid off as they secured a crucial 23-point victory, bolstering their chances of securing a spot in the finals, A win in this weekend’s ‘make up’ game, due to rescheduling, with Gurindji will seal their spot in the final four.
