AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) is proud to announce SunCable have recommitted as the naming rights partner for the 2024 Big Rivers Football League (BRFL).
Sun Cable has become a leader in the development of renewable energy with the AAPowerlink (Australia-Asia Power Link) project harnessing the power of the Northern Territory sun to supply cities such as Darwin and Singapore.
The project includes the development of the world’s biggest integrated renewable energy and battery storage facility in the heart of the Northern Territory.
Managing Director for SunCable’s DarwinLink Cameron Garnsworthy said:
“SunCable is excited to be back as the naming rights partner of the Big Rivers AFL and Barkly AFL for the third year in a row.

BRFL Competitions Lead Shannon Jackson said: “We are really excited to be partnered with SunCable once again to bring you the 2024 Big Rivers Football league.
“This season we welcome back Gurindji Eagles into the Senior Men’s competition and Katherine Camels into the Senior Women’s.
“From all accounts, both teams have been training the house down and are chomping at the bit to show us what they will bring to footy in the region.
“The first bounce takes place this Friday night with the Camels and Crows matching up in both grades.
“This fixture is sure to set the bar high for what will be an exciting and unpredictable season of footy in the BRFL.
“Thank you to the team at SunCable for their ongoing support of Territory football, which is critical in ensuring the BRFL and the game at local level more broadly remain strong.”
