TIO NTFL Round 14 Update – Vaccine Pass & Masks

In light of the current Northern Territory Government’s vaccine pass and mandatory mask use direction, it is required all who attend TIO NTFL venues are to show proof of vaccination status and to comply with wearing a mask while inside any premise, including changerooms. 
 
The health and safety of the community remains the highest priority and AFLNT expects the football community to be vigilant to ensure the minimisation of COVID-19 spread. 
 
After consultation with the Northern Territory Government, it was confirmed all TIO NTFL venues are licensed premises’ and for those over the age of 16 years to gain access to games at these venues, proof of vaccination status will be required upon entry. 
 
The Northern Territory Government strongly recommends and AFLNT strongly encourages all patrons to wear a mask when attending TIO NTFL games, even when outdoors. 
 
Personal behaviour is one of the best defences against COVID-19 which is why it is important for everyone to follow all health directions. AFLNT expects all in the football community to take responsibility for their own adherence to the Government directions. 
 
If you have symptoms, stay away from others, do not participate in or attend the footy and get tested for COVID-19. 
 
To arm yourself with the best protection against COVID-19 and to slow the spread, book and receive the vaccine and booster when eligible, maintain a physical distance of 1.5m at all times, check in to all venues using The Territory Check In App, wash your hands with soap and water and use hand sanitiser regularly. 
 
The Men’s Premier League Tiwi Bombers and Wanderers match scheduled for this Saturday 15 January won’t go ahead due current Tiwi Islands travel restrictions. AFLNT will continue to monitor these travel restrictions.
