Drawn Finals
There cannot be any draws in finals.

The scenario for Men's and Women’s Premier League can be read in the NTFL By-Laws (2021-22 Edition) rule 3.8.

In short, the teams will play two five-minute periods of extra time before a 'golden point' scenario. The rule is very specific about coaches' access and teams changing ends.

The scenario for all other divisions can be read in the AFLNT Rules & Regulations (2020-21 Edition) rule 3.17.

In short, the teams will have a five-minute interval at the end of the fourth quarter where they can be addressed by their coaches before they switch ends and will play until the first score is registered.

Extreme Weather Policy
When it comes to lightning and other weather events, the umpires and match managers are the ones who will determine the risk based on the appropriate national policies and guidelines.

If you hear five sirens, then please seek safe shelter immediately.

See here for a detailed explanation of the Extreme Weather (lightning) Policy and what might happen.
