2021/22 TIO NTFL MRP Finals Week 3

MRP

AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) wishes to advise the Match Review Panel (MRP) has reviewed all matches played in Finals Week 3 of the 2021/22 TIO NTFL season, and the following charges have been laid:

Women’s Premier League

Megan Hunt of Waratah Football Club has been charged with rough conduct against #21 of Nightcliff Football Club in the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Women’s Premier League match between Nightcliff and Waratah at TIO Stadium on Saturday 12 March 2022.

Based on the evidence available, it was the view of the MRP that the incident should be referred straight to the independent Tribunal.

Men’s Division 2

Keegan Mills-Horne of Banks Bulldogs Football Club has been charged with striking #5 of PINT Football Club in the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division 2 match between Banks and PINT at TIO Oval 2 on Saturday 12 March 2022.

Based on the evidence available, it was the view of the MRP that the incident should be classified as intentional conduct, low impact and body contact resulting in a one-match penalty.

In summary, Mills-Horne can accept a reprimand with an early guilty plea.

The club/players via the club's tribunal advocate have until 9:00pm tonight (Tuesday) to accept the early plea or lodge an appeal to have the matter heard by an independent Tribunal.

AFLNT will only issue a further update if the club/player chooses to challenge at Tribunal.
