Raphael Clarke of St Mary’s Football Club has been charged with headbutting player #28 from Nightcliff Football Club in the first quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League Grand Final between Nightcliff and St Mary’s at TIO Stadium on Saturday 20 March 2021.

Based on the evidence available, it was the view of the MRP that the incident should be classified as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact, resulting in a two-match penalty.

In summary, Clarke can accept a one-match penalty with an early guilty plea.

Ryan Nyhuis of Nightcliff Football Club has been charged with rough conduct against player number #39 of St Mary’s Football Club in the second quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League Grand Final between Nightcliff and St Mary’s at TIO Stadium on Saturday 20 March 2021.

Based on the evidence available, it was the view of the MRP that the incident should be classified as careless conduct, medium impact and body contact, resulting in a one-match penalty.

In summary, Nyhuis can accept a reprimand with an early guilty plea.

Men’s Division 1

Darren Ewing of Banks Bulldogs Football Club has been charged with striking player number #44 of PINT Football Club in the first quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division 1 Grand Final between PINT and Banks at TIO Stadium on Saturday 20 March 2021.

Based on the evidence available, it was the view of the MRP that the incident should be classified as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact, resulting in a two-match penalty.

Men’s Division 2

Jayden Clayfield of Waratah Football Club has been charged with using abusive language towards an umpire at the end of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division 2 Grand Final between PINT Football Club and Waratah at TIO Stadium on Saturday 20 March 2021.

Based on the evidence available, it was the view of the MRP that the language Clayfield is alleged to have used is in-line with the Auditory Offences matrix (Appendix 9) that is part of the AFLNT Rules and Regulations (2020-21 edition) and should be classified as medium, meaning the comment could be heard 10 to 50 metres away, while the conduct was rated as abusive/obscene. This has resulted in a three-match penalty.

In summary, Clayfield can accept a two-match penalty with an early guilty plea.
