Two of the 2020/21 TIO NTFL Women's Division 2 matches on Wednesday 25 November have been declared wash-outs and will be entered as draws.
Both the Nightcliff vs Southern Districts, and the Waratah vs Tracy Village matches were stopped by the umpires/match manager as the TIO Stadium siren sounded 5 times due to lightning activity. All patrons were ordered to evacuate the field and seek shelter. Neither of the games were deemed safe enough to be recommenced within 30 minutes and therefore the games were officially declared wash-outs.
This is the first time a game has been deemed a wash-out in this season.
