Traffic control will be in place on Saturday 14 March 2019 from 2:00pm, and Abala Road will operate as a one-way road from this time.

With traffic control in place, things may take slower than usual and with heavy foot traffic in the area, patrons are encouraged to allow plenty of time and to walk carefully.

Please note the Ah Mat Gate (McMillans Rd end) car park is reserved for VIP guests with a valid pass. Some car parking at the Bonson Gate (airport end) is also reserved for pass holders, but all remaining car parks at this gate and those available around the Marrara Sporting Complex are on a first in best-dressed policy.

Please be mindful of where you park and obey all road rules and any restrictions.

Traffic control for NTFL Grand Final

Transport via bus

The #3 public bus that departs/returns to Casuarina Interchange will follow the traffic direction around Abala Rd, making one stop outside the Bonson Gate (airport end) until the traffic conditions change at 2:00pm.

Any bus after 2:30pm will then do one drop-off and pick-up from the corner of Marrara Drive and Abala Road.

Passouts & refunds

Drawn Finals

There cannot be any draws in finals.

The scenario for Men's andPremier League can be read in the NTFL By-Laws (2019-20 Edition) rule 3.8. In short, the teams will play two five-minute periods of extra time before a 'golden point' scenario. The rule is very specific about coaches' access and teams changing ends.

The scenario for all other divisions can be read in the AFLNT Rules & Regulations (2019-20 Edition) rule 3.17. In short, the teams will have a five-minute interval at the end of the fourth quarter where they can be addressed by their coaches before they switch ends and will play until the first score is registered.

Extreme Weather Policy

When it comes to lightning and other weather events, the umpires and match managers are the ones who will determine the risk based on the appropriate national policies and guidelines.

If you hear five sirens then please seek safe shelter immediately.

See here for a detailed explanation of the Extreme Weather (lightning) Policy and what might happen.
