AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) is excited to announce the dates and locations of the 2018 NAB AFL Auskick Centres for Term 3.
Auskick is a great way for kids to learn new skills and have fun this school term.
The eight-week program provides boys and girls aged 5 – 8 with a fun and safe Australian Football experience in a community or club setting.
Sessions and drills are designed to allow all to participate in a manner that is appropriate for his or her AFL skills and needs. Modified drills, activities and games are used to provide each participant with a chance to develop their skills at their own pace.
Run by AFL Level 1 Coaches, Auskick incorporates an eight-week program, participant insurance and an Auskick pack filled with lots of fun goodies including a backpack, ball, singlet and pump.
Parents are encouraged put their hands up to be Auskick Volunteers and assist the Auskick Coordinators. It is a fantastic way to start a coaching journey.
Registration is $100 and Sports Vouchers are accepted for this program. The registration fee includes an auskick pack and a football.
For those who have already paid and participated in a term 2 Auskick Centre and wish to join in the fun of term 3 as well, a discounted rate applies. Please contact auskick@aflnt.com.au for more details.
All equipment and resources will be provided, although participants are advised to bring water, hats, and to wear comfortable gear for being active.
