More than $50,000 raised for Tai

Help Tai Walk Again cheque presentation

More than 200 guests gathered at the Michael Long Learning and Leadership Centre in Darwin on Saturday night for a very special event.

At the end of the Help Tai Walk Again Fundraiser, AFL Northern Territory in conjunction with the Darwin Buffaloes Football Club handed over a cheque to Tai's mum, Bridgit and brother, Jay to the sum of $52,407.

The final amount is still to be certified as payment for some items is still to be processed.

It was a fantastic event and from the bottom of our collective hearts, we thank all those who attended and dug deep to get Tai back up on his feet.
