Walter Lew Fatt

Walter Lew Fatt spent his entire footballing career with Darwin Buffaloes and is renowned as one of their greatest midfielders.

He played in ten grand finals from 1930 through to 1947 winning premierships in 1931/32, 1933/34, 1934/35 and 1935/36.

After being runner up in the NTFL League Best & Fairest in 1931/32 Lew Fatt took out the top medal in 1932/33 & again in 1933/34 taking out Buff’s Best & Fairest in the same years.

Acknowledged as a Life Member of NTFL for Services to Football and also a Life Member of Darwin Buffaloes.

Patriarch of the extended Lew Fatt family his legacy lived on with his sons inheriting their father’s footballing prowess. It is an honour to induct Walter Lew Fatt into the AFLNT Hall of Fame.
