AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) would like to advise that this weekend’s TIO NTFL Premier League matches between the Tiwi Bombers Football Club and St Mary’s Football Club will be moved to Gardens Oval, Darwin.
After continued inspections, the playing surface at Wurrumiyanga (Stanley Tipiloura Oval) was found not to be fit to play Premier League matches.
The scheduled games between Tiwi Bombers and St Mary’s in Round 11 will be moved to be played in Wurrumiyanga.
AFLNT will continue to liaise with stakeholders in Wurrumiyanga to prepare the venue to be fit for TIO NTFL Premier League Matches.
