15-year-old Emma Stark made her TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League Umpiring debut over the weekend during the TIO Northern Territory Football League (NTFL) CFS Gear Umpires Round Darwin Buffaloes v Palmerston Magpies clash.
This makes her the youngest ever female Men’s Premier League field umpire to debut!
Emma is no stranger to accolades. She was also the TIO NTFL Under 15 Leading Goal Kicker for the competition last season after kicking a whopping 54 goals for St Mary’s Football Club. She also took home the Under 15 Best and Fairest award, is part of the Cazalys NT Thunder Academy and STILL finds time to umpire each weekend.
