AFL Northern Territory is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Danny Frawley.
The Frawley family have a long and valued association with football in the NT in particular through Danny’s brother Tony who was our CEO for over ten years.
Danny was a great friend to many people across Australia through AFL, as a player with St Kilda, a coach at Richmond, the CEO of the AFL Coaches Association, a regular in the media, a stalwart of the International Rules teams over many years and an All Australian selector.
He had a great passion for footy and for people, and made such a positive and lasting influence on so many in our game.
The Board and Staff of AFLNT express our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Frawley family and friends.
