Based on the umpire report and video evidence available, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact, resulting in a two-match penalty.

Due to Long’s existing bad record (the Player has had two suspensions in the last two years and two reprimands in the past 12 months) his final penalty was increased to three-matches but he can accept a two-match penalty as an early guilty plea.

Stewart Carr, Runner of Nightcliff Tigers Football Club, has been charged with careless contact with an Umpire in the third quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League match between Nightcliff Tigers and Southern Districts at PSC BM Oval on Saturday 16 February 2019.

Based on the umpire report and video evidence available, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as a low-level offence, resulting in a one-match penalty.

In summary, Carr can accept a reprimand as an early guilty plea.
