AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed all matches played in Round 2 of the 2018/19 TIO NTFL season.

The following charges have been laid in the senior divisions:

Men’s Premier League

Heath Moloney, of St Mary’s Football Club, has been charged with engaging in rough conduct on player number 2 of Southern Districts Football Club in the second quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League match between Southern Districts and St Mary’s at TIO Stadium on Saturday 13 October 2018.

In summary, Moloney can accept a reprimand as an early guilty plea.

Tim Brook, of Southern Districts Football Club, has been charged with striking player number 27 of St Mary’s Football Club in the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League match between Southern Districts and and St Mary’s at TIO Stadium on Saturday 13 October 2018.

Based on the video evidence available, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact, resulting in a two-match suspension.

Due to a poor record over the last 12 months, Brook’s penalty must remain as a two-match suspension.

All clubs have until 9pm ACST Tuesday to indicate whether the charged players accept the imposed sanctions or they wish to challenge at Tribunal.
