NTFL Tribunal: Round 9

AFLNT wishes to advise the Tribunal sat on Wednesday 6 December to hear charges from Round 9 of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League and TIO NTFL Men’s Division 1 competition.
 
TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League

Keegan Dingo of Southern Districts Football Club contested the charge of striking during the third quarter of the Round 9 match in the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League game between Southern Districts and Nightcliff Football Club played at TIO Stadium on Friday 1 December 2017.

On reviewing the available footage and hearing the evidence provided by the umpires, the Tribunal agreed with the Reporting Officer’s amended charge of rough conduct, with careless conduct, low impact and body contact. 

Subsequently, Dingo pleaded guilty to the charge of rough conduct and was issued with a reprimand. 

TIO NTFL Men’s Division 1

James Bell of Southern Districts Football Club appeared before the Tribunal to answer the charge of abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene behaviour towards or in relation to an Umpire during the second quarter of the Round 9 match in the TIO NTFL Men’s Division 1 game between Southern Districts and Waratah Football Club played at Gardens Oval on Saturday 2 December 2017.

In summary, Bell was found guilty and issued with a one-match suspension.
