NTFL Match Review Panel: Round 5

AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed all matches played in Round 5 of the 2017/18 TIO NTFL Season.

  

The following charges have been laid in the Senior and Under 18 divisions:  

 

 

MEN’S PREMIER LEAGUE

 

Jaden McGrathSt Mary’s Football Club, has been charged with striking in the first quarter in the TIO NTFL Premier League match between Wanderers Football Club and St Mary’s Football Club at TIO Stadium on Friday November 3, 2017.

 

Based on the umpire’s report, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and high contact, resulting in a two-match penalty.

 

In summary, McGrath can accept a one-match penalty with an early plea. 

 

 

Sue KotzTeam Manager, Waratah Football Club, has been charged with serious misconduct at the end of the third quarter in the TIO NTFL Premier League match between the Nightcliff Football Club and Waratah Football Club at TIO Stadium on Saturday November 4, 2017.

 

Based on video evidence, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be referred directly to the Tribunal.

 

 

Jalen ClarkeDarwin Buffaloes Football Club, has been charged with striking in the third quarter in the TIO NTFL Premier League match between Southern Districts Football Club and Darwin Buffaloes Football Club at TIO Stadium on Saturday November 4, 2017.

 

Based on video evidence available, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and high contact, resulting in a two-match penalty.

 

In summary, Clarke can accept a one-match penalty with an early plea. 

 

 

UNDER 18 BOYS




 

Mark HibberdRunner, Palmerston Football Club, has been charged with abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene behaviour towards or in relation to an umpire at the end of the game in the TIO NTFL Under 18 Boys match between Big River Hawks Football Club and Palmerston Football Club at TIO Oval 2 on Saturday November 4, 2017.

 

Based on the umpire’s report, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be referred directly to the Tribunal.
