The Kangaroos upset fancied favourites Ngukurr Demons in the NFL Grand Final at the weekend
The Demons were red-hot favourites and started as such, ex-Palmerston premiership player, Dion Kelly, marked everything early and the Demons blew out to a 28-point lead until key player and Waratah Premier League player, Davin Hall, was sent off for the match. Rowan Bonson started having a big influence through the middle and Chris Manur's agility and conversion in the Kangaroos forward half was enough to earn him man of the match awards and get his side over the line for an unlikely premiership victory.
