A second FREE "club field umpires practical course" will be conducted on WEDNESDAY 6th of NOVEMBER - 5.30pm start at TIO No 2 Oval. This will be the practical session first followed by watching the 2013 Laws DVD and talking about NTFL match paperwork.
This second FREE Basic Field Umpires Practical Course is for all CLUB Field Umpires yet to complete the new National Club Field Umpires Course. We need all club field umpires to please complete the free National "AFL CLUB UMPIRE PROGRAM" online learning first, which can be found on the following link:
http://www.aflcommunityclub.com.au/index.php?id=836before we meet on Wednesday 6th of November. The course is free and takes around 30 minutes to complete online. Applicants can then print out their "AFL certificate of completion" with their name on it and please bring it to the "Club Field Umpires Visit" on the 6th of November.
The practical component (please wear your joggers) will begin at 5.30pm at TIO Stadium No 2 Oval and then we will then talk about the NTFL match paperwork and watch the 2013 Laws DVD.
Each participant will received a FREE national Basic Umpire Course drawstring kit which comprises of a whistle, cap, wristbands, water-bottle etc and also a BUC certificate from the AFL. This will then entitle the NTFL Club Field Umpire to some monetary reimbursement.
