Motlop Visits Manunda Tce Primary

Port Adelaide forward and Darwin local Daniel Motlop made a school visit to Manunda Tce Primary to begin to build support for Port Adelaide's two games in Darwin next year.

Motlop who is originally from Darwin made a special visit to the primary school where around 60 local chidren from the local area participated in a super clinic with AFLNT Game Development Staff.

The children at Manunda Tce Primary were really receptive to Daniel asking him questions from how many trophies he has won, games played, goals kicked to how long since he has played football.

"Myself, my older brother, Andrew McLeod and a few other boys used to come to Manunda Tce Primary to play on the oval here, cost it was small and we could play five-a-side footy." "It was a great opportunity to begin to build the Port Adelaide presence in Darwin," said Motlop "We have two games at TIO Stadium next year and we want as many people with Port Adelaide colours on through the gate as we can get." Port Adelaide play Melbourne Football Club at TIO Stadium on 22nd May 2010 and then return to TIO Stadium on the 17th July to take on rivals Western Bulldogs who have built up a strong rivalry in Darwin over the years.
