We’re now only days away from the Gold Coast SUNS and Adelaide Crows blockbuster match this Saturday evening at TIO Stadium!

We want to make sure fans have the best experience, please see game day info below to make your evening one to remember! 

Tickets

Tickets will be available for purchase at Bonson and Ah Mat Gates although we strongly encourage all punters to purchase online to beat the queues!

Reserved seating is close to selling out, we’d highly suggest booking these early if you’re hoping to enjoy the match from the comfort of the Grandstand.

Free Buses to and from TIO Stadium

Dedicated event buses will run to and from TIO Stadium from Darwin, Stuart Park, Casuarina, Palmerston, and Humpty Doo via Coolalinga. You will need to present your Gold Coast SUNS vs Adelaide Crows ticket to board the bus.

Parking 

Public car parking is available throughout Abala Road and the Marrara Sporting Complex. Please refer to the venue and parking map here

Designated accessible parking, is located at the Bonson & Ah Mat Gate carparks.

Gates

Bonson & Ah Mat Gates open at 2:30 pm ahead of the Curtain Raiser between Waratah FC and the CAFL Representative side at 3:00 pm.

The Scoreboard Gate will be accessible from 5:00 pm (no ticket sales available from the scoreboard gate)

To provide the best in-stadium experience, please ensure you familiarise yourself with your ticket entry type and the lane of entry. You will be required to ensure you line up in the lane labelled to your ticket type. All grandstand reserved seat holders will be provided a wristband at the time of scanning into the stadium whilst hospitality guests will be required to proceed to the hospitality wristband collection marquee behind the Grandstand before proceeding to their event space.

Club Captains Run

  • Gold Coast SUNS will host their captain's run at TIO Stadium from 3:00 pm on Friday 2 June 2023.
  • Adelaide Crows will host their captain's run at TIO Stadium from 5:30 pm on Friday 2 June 2023.

Fans are welcome to attend both sessions and enter via the Bonson gate. 

Accessibility

For patrons with a grandstand reserved seat please find accessible access is via a lift near the TIO Stadium office (Bonson Gate entry)

Food & Drink

Food stalls will operate near the Scoreboard Entry Gate, behind the Family Friendly area, behind the Grandstand and on Level 2 of the Grandstand. Stalls offer a range of food and non-alcoholic beverages. 

Licenced bars will operate from the Scoreboard section, behind and on the sides of the Grandstand, and on Level 2 of the Grandstand. 

You are not permitted to bring beverages (other than sealed bottled water) into the venue. All water bottles must be empty prior to entering the venue. Consideration will be given to those with special dietary requirements.

You can now use your BasicsCard at the TIO Stadium Kiosk in the Grandstand and with various stallholders.

Family Friendly Zone

The Family Friendly Zone is located on the grassy hill at the Bonson Gate end of the field. The Family Friendly Zone is a dry area. Please refer to the venue and parking map here.

Carpentaria Accessible Area

For those requiring an accessible area to enjoy the footy, we are excited to provide access to a private accessible area located behind the goals at the Airport end.

Darwin Festival Activation

Be sure to visit the Darwin Festival fun behind the Grandstand to have a go on the 360-degree photobooth, chill out whilst enjoying some tunes from the DJ and meet some of the roving entertainers.

Rugs and Camp Chairs
You can bring camping chairs and rugs to sit on. If you bring a camping chair you will be requested to sit on the upper areas of the grassy hills. 

ATM’s
ATM’s will be available behind the grandstand.

Smoking and Vaping
Smoking and Vaping is strictly prohibited in most areas of the venue. There are three designated smoking areas within TIO Stadium. Anyone found to be smoking or vaping outside of the three allocated areas will be evicted from the stadium.

Macca's Kick 2 Kick!

We’re thrilled to confirm that Maccas Kick 2 Kick will take place post the AFL match, fans are advised to wait for the second siren to sound before entering the field of play. Patrons are reminded, there is no field of play access at any time outside of this period and penalties will be applied.

Medical emergencies and anti-social behaviour at TIO Stadium

In the event of a medical emergency please flag down the closest TIO Stadium staff member who will be able to get the attention of the onsite St John Ambulance crew. 

Anti-social behaviour and breaches of the Conditions of Entry are looked upon poorly by stadium officials.  

Members of the public are encouraged to report incidents via text or phone to 0474 596 336. There will also be security and police personnel that you can report to.  

Emergency evacuation procedures 

In the event of an emergency, an announcement will be made over the PA system.  
If TIO Stadium needs to be evacuated, the Bonson, Ah Mat and scoreboard gates will be opened, and patrons will be directed to the safest route.
