TIO NTFL Match Review Panel: Round 6

AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed all matches played in Round 6 of the 2019/20 TIO NTFL season, and the following charges have been laid in the senior divisions:
 


Men’s Premier League
 


Austin Wonaeamirri, of Tiwi Bombers Football Club, has been charged with striking player number 12 from the Waratah Football Club in the first quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League match between Waratah and Tiwi Bombers at Gardens Oval on Saturday 9 November 2019.
 
Based on the umpire's report, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact, resulting in a two-match penalty.
 


In summary, Wonaeamirri can accept a one-match penalty as an early plea penalty.
 
Men’s Division 1
 


Michael Dillon, of Banks Football Club, has been charged with striking player number 6 from the Darwin Buffaloes Football Club in the second quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division 1 match between Banks and Darwin Buffaloes at Gardens Oval on Sunday 10 November 2019.
 
Based on the umpire's report, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact, resulting in a two-match penalty.
 


In summary, Dillon can accept a one-match penalty as an early plea penalty.
