TIO NTFL Match Review Panel: Finals Week 4

MRP Week 4

AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed all matches played in Finals Week 4 of the 2018/19 TIO NTFL season and the following charges have been laid in the senior divisions: 

Men’s Division 1

Jayden Kickett, of Nightcliff Football Club, has been charged with head-butting player number 16 of Banks Bulldogs Football Club in the first quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division 1 Grand Final between Banks and Nightcliff at TIO Stadium on Saturday 16 March 2019.

Based on the umpire’s report, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional conduct, medium impact and high contact, resulting in a three-match penalty.

In summary, Kickett can accept a two-match penalty as an early guilty plea. 

Men’s Division 2

Chris Pick, of Banks Bulldogs Football Club, has been charged with rough conduct on player number 19 of St Mary’s Football Club in the first quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division 2 Grand Final between St Mary’s Sharks and Banks Bulldogs at TIO Stadium on Saturday 16 March 2019.

Based on the video evidence available, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional conduct, medium impact and high contact, resulting in a three-match penalty.

In summary, Pick can accept a two-match penalty as an early guilty plea.
