NTFL Tribunal: Finals Week Two

AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) advises the independent Tribunal sat tonight, Wednesday 6 March, to hear the charge from the weekend’s TIO NTFL Men’s Division 1 game laid against Charley Hall, of Nightcliff Football Club.

Hall, appeared before the Tribunal to answer the charge of head-butting player number 17 of PINT Football Club in the third quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division 1 match between Nightcliff and PINT at TIO Oval 2 on Saturday 2 March 2019.

The MRP classified the incident as intentional conduct, medium impact and high contact, resulting in a three-match penalty.

Hall pleaded guilty to the lesser classification of intentional conduct, low impact and high contact.

The Tribunal gave Hall a one-match penalty, factoring in his guilty plea at the first available opportunity to the amended charge. The Tribunal declined to suspend the penalty.

Should the League or club/player wish to appeal a decision from Tribunal they have until 5pm tomorrow (Thursday) to officially lodge it in accordance with the 2018 State & Territory Tribunal Guidelines.
