AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) wishes to advise it received notification from Southern Districts Football Club that it wishes to withdraw its appeal in the matter of Women’s Premier League coach, Tarmon Elliott from Round 17 of the TIO NTFL.
AFLNT has accepted Southern Districts’ right to withdraw the appeal and as such, the penalty handed to Elliott at last Wednesday’s independent Tribunal stands.
For the record, Elliott was found guilty of using abusive language to an Umpire in Round 17 of the TIO NTFL Women’s Premier League match between PINT and Southern Districts at TIO Oval 2 on Saturday 9 February 2019.
He was issued with a one-match penalty which he served in Round 18 and is therefore eligible to coach in the Women’s Premier League elimination final this weekend
