APPEALS BOARD

The independent Appeals Board is set to sit tonight, Tuesday 20 February from 6pm to hear two cases. The order of cases is:

1. Keegan Dingo (Southern Districts Football Club) – found guilty of rough conduct in Round 16

2. Pierce Liddle (Southern Districts Football Club) – found guilty of rough conduct in Round 12

Note:  The process of the appeal is that the independent Appeals Board will listen to the grounds for appeal (which are outlined in point 4.3 of the 2017 State and Territory Tribunal Guidelines) and decide if there is a ground/s that have been met.

In most circumstances, if the ground/s for appeal have been met, they will then proceed with the appeal in the same sitting.

However, it is not unusual for this first part of the process to be quite lengthy, likewise, there are times where the second part of the process, hearing the appeal is deferred to a later date. This will not be known until the time.
