NTFL Match Review Panel

The following charges have been laid in the senior divisions:  
 

MEN’S PREMIER LEAGUE

Neil Gibson, Water Carrier of St Mary’s Football Club, has been charged with abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene behaviour towards or in relation to an umpire, at the end of the second quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League match between Waratah and St Mary’s at TIO Stadium on Saturday 16th December 2017.

Based on umpire report and video evidence it was the view of the panel that the incident should result in a three-match suspension.

In summary, Gibson can accept a two-match sanction as an early plea.  

 

Jake Roe-Duggan, of Southern Districts Football Club, has been charged with charging player number 10 of Nightcliff Football Club, in the first quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League match between Southern Districts and Nightcliff at Norbuilt Oval on Sunday 17th December 2017.

Based on video evidence it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as careless, low impact and high contact resulting in a one-match suspension.

In summary, Roe-Duggan can accept a reprimand as an early guilty plea.
 






 

 

Dylan Barry, of Southern Districts Football Club, has been charged with forceful front on contact on player number 3 of Nightcliff Football Club, in the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League match between Southern Districts and Nightcliff at Norbuilt Oval on Sunday 17th December 2017.
 

Based on umpire report and video evidence it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as careless, low impact and high contact resulting in a one-match suspension.
 

In summary, Barry can accept a reprimand as an early guilty plea.
 

 

MEN’S DIVISION ONE 

Damien Moses Niki, of Wanderers Football Club, has been charged with striking player number 14 in the third quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division One match between Nightcliff and Wanderers at Nightcliff PSC BM Oval on Saturday 16th December 2017.

Based on the umpire’s report it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and high contact resulting two-match suspension.


 

In summary, Niki can accept a one-match sanction as an early plea.  










MEN’S DIVISION TWO
Damien Narul, of St Mary’s Football Club, has been charged with striking player number 26 in the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division Two match between Waratah and St Mary’s at TIO Oval 2 on Friday 15th December 2017.
 

Based on the umpire’s report it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and high contact resulting two-match suspension.



 

In summary, Narul can accept a one-match sanction as an early plea.
