Match Review Panel

The report of Jack Monigatti from the Tiwi Bombers Football Club for intentionally kicking was dismissed by the Match Review Panel.
 
The following charges have been laid in the senior divisions:  
 
 

MEN’S PREMIER LEAGUE




Brandon Rusca, of Southern Districts Football Club, has been charged with striking player number 12 of Waratah Football Club, in the first quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League match between Southern Districts and Waratah at TIO Stadium on Friday 1st December 2017.
 
Based on the umpire’s report it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and body contact resulting in a one-match suspension.
 
In summary, Rusca can accept a reprimand as an early guilty plea.
 






Keegan Dingo, of Southern Districts Football Club, has been charged with striking player number 4 of Waratah Football Club, in the third quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League match between Southern Districts and Waratah at TIO Stadium on Friday 1st December 2017.
 
Based on the umpire’s report it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and high contact resulting in a two-match suspension.
 
In summary, due to his previous bad record, his two-game penalty increases to a three-game penalty. Dingo can accept a two-match sanction as an early plea.  
 
 
MEN’S DIVISION ONE
 
Alan Graham, of Darwin Buffaloes Football Club, has been charged with failing to leave the playing surface in the second quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division One match between Darwin Buffaloes and Banks at TIO Oval 2 on Saturday 2nd December 2017.
 
Based on the umpire’s report it was the view of the panel that the incident should result in a one-match suspension.


In summary, Graham can accept a reprimand as an early guilty plea.
 
 
 
James Bell, of Southern Districts Football Club, has been charged with abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene behaviour towards or in relation to an Umpire in the second quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division One match between Southern Districts and Waratah at Gardens Oval on Saturday 2nd December 2017.
 
Based on the umpire’s report, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be referred directly to the Tribunal.
