NTFL Tribunal: Round 5

AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) wishes to advise the Tribunal sat on Wednesday 8 November 2017 to hear two charges from Round 5 of the 2017/18 TIO NTFL competition. 

TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League
 
Sue Kotz, Team Manager of the Waratah Football Club appeared before the Tribunal to answer the charge of serious misconduct at the end of the third quarter of the Round 5 game in the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League between Nightcliff Football Club and Waratah Football Club played at TIO Stadium on Saturday 4 November 2017.
 
In summary, the Tribunal decided to amend the charge to misconduct and ruled Kotz was guilty of said charge.

She was issued with a one-match suspension whereby she is not able to participate in a match conducted by AFLNT and a match conducted by any other Controlling Body.
 
TIO NTFL Under 18 Boys
 
Mark Hibberd, Runner of the Palmerston Football Club appeared before the Tribunal to answer the charge of abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene behaviour towards or in relation to an umpire at the end of the game in the TIO NTFL Under 18 Boys match between the Palmerston Football Club and the Big River Hawks Football Club at TIO Oval 2 on Saturday 4 November 2017.
 
In summary, Hibberd was found guilty and was issued with a one-match suspension whereby he is not able to participate in a match conducted by AFLNT and a match conducted by any other Controlling Body. 

Both Kotz and Hibberd have until 5pm Thursday to lodge an appeal.
