AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) is excited to announce the return of Kennards Hire Thunder Juniors program for 2017.
Training starts on Monday 27 March with games to start on 21 April (Term 2) for 10 weeks).
Thunder Juniors program is designed to be great fun for all abilities and for those who have played AFL before, and those who are new to the game. It is safe and inclusive with modified rules. There are 18 Thunder Junior teams across Darwin and Palmerston in Under 9’s and Under 11’s.2017 sees the introduction of four girls only teams for Under 10’s and Under 12’s across Darwin, Palmerston and the Rural area. Games are held under lights every Friday night at TIO Stadium or Asbuild Oval and volunteer coaches and team managers are encouraged to apply.
