TIO NTFL tribunal results - Grand Final

AFL Northern Territory wishes to advise the Tribunal sat on Wednesday 22 March 2017 to hear charges from the Men’s Division One of the TIO NTFL Competition.

 

Division One

The Tribunal heard the charge of striking by Benedict Mahon of Waratah Football Club during the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Division One Grand Final between Waratah Football Club and St Mary’s Football Club at TIO Stadium on Saturday 18 March 2017.

In summary, Mahon was found guilty of striking. 

Based on the evidence available, the Tribunal upheld the incident as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact, resulting in a two-match penalty.

He has until 5pm tomorrow (Thursday) to lodge an appeal.
