Celebrating 20 Years of Auskick in 2015

NAB looking for 22 Auskickers of the Year.

2015 see’s the AFL celebrate Auskick turning 20, and to celebrate the AFL and NAB are looking for 22 aspiring stars to be named Auskickers of the year.

The competition is available to all those registered in the program, which in the Northern Territory this year has centres in Alice Springs, Palmerston and Rural areas, Darwin, Tennant Creek, Groote Eylandt and Katherine.

Participants in the top end also have the added convenience of having their Auskick packs mailed directly to their homes.

Starting in just a few weeks time, Auskick participants are preparing to learn AFL skills through modified activities with a major emphasis on having fun and giving the game a go.

The program costs $100.00 per participant and NT Government sports vouchers are accepted.

Late last month, National Auskick Ambassador Shane Crawford launched the season in Darwin at Bakewell Primary and Gardens Oval.
