The Northern Territory Football League and AFLNT are seeking interested applicants who wish to fastrack their umpiring careers for the upcoming 2013-14 TIO NTFL Season. AFL Grand Final Umpire Brett Rosebery has been one such success story.
AFL Northern Territory is seeking Level 2 Accredited Field Umpires for the upcoming 2013/14 TIO NTFL season. If you are looking for an opportunity to fast track your umpiring career then this may be for you.
AFL Northern Territory is offering full season contracts for the 2013/14 TIO NTFL season. AFLNT will pay the bond for rental accommodation and return travel costs from your current address. You will also be paid in accordance with the AFLNT/NTFLUA Collective Bargaining Agreement. If you are successful, AFLNT will endeavour to assist you in finding employment whilst in Darwin. To be a successful applicant in this program you will need to:

Hold Level 2 Australian Rules Football Umpiring qualifications as per the National Umpiring Accreditation Scheme (NUAS)

Be available to Umpire during the 2013/14 TIO NTFL season running from Monday 30 September - 2013 til Sunday 16 March 2014, including a two-week break during the festive season (AFLNT will contribute to some flight costs if you wish to return home for Christmas Break).

Prepare fully and professionally

Learn as much as you possibly can during games and at training sessions

Applicants will be required to complete a questionaire and if possible supply vision of their umpiring skills in action during the 2013.
