AFL Northern Territory wishes to advise the Tribunal sat on Wednesday 15 February 2017 to hear charges from Round 17 of the TIO NTFL season.
TIO NTFL MEN’S PREMIER LEAGUE
The Tribunal heard the charge of other misconduct by Brent Renouf, runner of St Mary’s Football Club during the third quarter of the Round 17 match in the 2016/17 TIO NTFL Premier League game between St Mary’s and Southern Districts at TIO Stadium on Saturday 11th February.
In summary, Renouf was found guilty of other misconduct based on the evidence available, resulting in a reprimand.
He has until 5pm Friday to lodge an appeal.
TIO NTFL MEN’S DIVISION 1
The Tribunal heard the charge of charging by Jerimiah Dhamarrandji, of Wanderers Football Club during the third quarter of the Round 17 match in the 2016/17 TIO NTFL Division 1 game between Banks Football Club and Wanderers Football Club at TIO Oval 2 on Saturday 11th February.
In summary, Dhamarrandji was found guilty of the charge.
Based on the evidence available, he was handed a three-match penalty.
He has until 5pm Friday to lodge an appeal.
TIO NTFL BOYS’ U18
The Tribunal heard the charge of behaving in an abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene manner towards an umpire by Adrian Kidney, assistant coach of Nightcliff Football Club after the final siren of the Round 17 match in the 2016/17 TIO NTFL Boys’ U18 game between Nightcliff Football Club and Palmerston Football Club at Asbuild Oval on Saturday 11th February.
In summary, Kidney was found guilty.
Based on the evidence available, he was handed a two-match penalty.
He has until 5pm Friday to lodge an appeal.
TIO NTFL GIRL’S U15
The Tribunal heard the charge of behaving in an abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene manner towards an umpire by Natalie Althouse, coach of Darwin Buffaloes Football Club after the final siren of the Round 17 match in the 2016/17 TIO NTFL Girl’s U15 game between Waratah Football Club and Darwin Buffaloes Football Club at TIO 2 on Saturday 11th February.
In summary, Althouse was found guilty.
Based on the evidence available, she was handed a reprimand.
She has until 5pm Friday to lodge an appeal.
