TIO NTFL MATCH REVIEW PANEL ROUND 17

AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed all matches played in Round 17 of the 2016/17 TIO NTFL Season.

The following charges have been laid:   

MEN'S PREMIER LEAGUE

Joseph Collinson, Darwin Buffaloes Football Club, has been charged with making an obscene gesture during the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between Waratah Football Club and Darwin Buffaloes Football Club at TIO Stadium on Saturday 11th February 2017.
 
Based on video evidence available, it was the view of the panel that the incident would result in a one-match suspension.
  
In summary, Collinson can accept a reprimand as an early guilty plea.
 
Henry Armour, Southern Districts Football Club, has been charged with charging during the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between St Mary's Football Club and Southern Districts Football Club at TIO Stadium on Saturday 11th February 2017.
 
Based on video evidence available, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, medium impact and body contact resulting in a two-match suspension. The player has a bad record within the last two years, which increases the sanction by two-weeks to a three-week sanction.
 
In summary, Armour can accept a two-match suspension as an early guilty plea.
 
Justin Wilson, St Mary's Football Club, has been charged with striking, during the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between St Mary's Football Club and Southern Districts Football Club at TIO Stadium on Saturday 11th February 2017.
 
Based on umpire report and video evidence available, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, medium impact and body contact resulting in a two-match suspension.

In summary, Wilson can accept a one match suspension as an early guilty plea.

Brent Renouf, Runner, St Mary's Football Club, has been charged with misconduct, during the third quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between St Mary's Football Club and Southern Districts Football Club at TIO Stadium on Saturday 11th February 2017.
 
Based on video evidence, the matter has been referred directly to the tribunal.

MEN'S DIVISION ONE

Jerimiah Dhamarrandji, Wanderers Football Club, has been charged with charging during the third quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Division One match between Banks Football Club and Wanderers Football Club at TIO Stadium on Saturday 11th February 2017.
 
Based on umpire report, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, high impact and high contact.
 
In summary, the matter has been referred directly to the tribunal.

Ashton Davey, Palmerston Football Club, has been charged with intentional contact with an umpire during the third quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Division One match between Palmerston Football Club and Nightcliff Football Club at Asbuild Oval on Saturday 11th February 2017.

Ashton Davey, Palmerston Football Club, has been charged with abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene behaviour towards or in relation to an umpire during the third quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Division One match between Palmerston Football Club and Nightcliff Football Club at Asbuild Oval on Saturday 11th February 2017.

UNDER 18 BOYS

Adrian Kidney, Assistant Coach, Nightcliff Football Club, has been charged with abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene language after the final siren of the TIO NTFL Under 18 Boys match between Palmerston Football Club and Nightcliff Football Club at Asbuild Oval on Saturday 11th February 2017. 

Based on umpire report, the matter has been referred directly to the tribunal. 

UNDER 15 GIRLS

Natalie Althouse, Coach, Darwin Buffaloes Football Club, has been charged with abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene language after the final siren of the TIO NTFL Under 15 Girls match between Waratah Football Club and Darwin Buffaloes Football Club at TIO Stadium on Sunday 12th February 2017.
