TIO NTFL TRIBUNAL RESULTS - RD 3

AFL Northern Territory wishes to advise the Tribunal sat on Wednesday 26 October 2016 to hear one charge from the Men’s Premier League and one charge from Division 1 of the TIO NTFL Competition.

TIO NTFL MEN’S PREMIER LEAGUE
 
The Tribunal heard the charge of striking by Bradley Stokes of Darwin Buffaloes Football Club during the third quarter of the Round 3 match in the 2016/17 TIO NTFL Premier League game between Waratah and Darwin Buffaloes at TIO Stadium on Saturday 22 October 2016.

In summary, Stokes was found guilty of striking.
Based on the evidence available, the Tribunal classified the incident as intentional, high impact and high contact, resulting in a seven-match penalty.

He has until 5pm today (Thursday) to lodge an appeal.

TIO NTFL DIVISION 1
 
The Tribunal heard the charge of striking by Matthew Gale of PINT Football Club during the first quarter of the Round 3 match in the 2016/17 TIO NTFL Division 1 game between Nightcliff and PINT at PSC BM Oval on Saturday 22 October 2016.

In summary, Gale was found guilty of striking
Based on the evidence available, the Tribunal classified the incident as careless, high impact and high contact, resulting in a two-match penalty.

He has until 5pm today (Thursday) to lodge an appeal.
