AFL Northern Territory wishes to advise the Tribunal sat on Wednesday 23 November 2016 to hear three charges from the Men’s Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2 of the TIO NTFL Competition. MEN’S PREMIER LEAGUE The Tribunal heard the charge of rough conduct by Keegan Dingo of Southern Districts Football Club during the fourth quarter of the Round 7 match in the 2016/17 TIO NTFL Premier League game between Southern Districts and Nightcliff at TIO Stadium on Saturday 19 November. In summary, Dingo was found guilty of rough conduct. Based on the evidence available, the Tribunal upheld the incident classification as intentional, high conduct and low impact, resulting in a 2-match penalty. He has until 5pm Thursday to lodge an appeal. TIO NTFL MEN’S DIVISION ONE The Tribunal heard the charge of striking by Braun Maslan of Palmerston Football Club during the second quarter of the Round 7 match in the 2016/17 TIO NTFL Division 1 game between Tracy Village Football Club and Palmerston Football Club at TIO Stadium on Sunday 20 November. In summary, Maslan was found guilty of striking Based on the evidence available, the Tribunal downgraded the incident classification to careless, high impact and high conduct, resulting in a 2-match penalty. He has until 5pm Thursday to lodge an appeal. TIO NTFL MEN’S DIVISION TWO The Tribunal heard the charge of forceful front on contact by Daniel Hill of Jabiru Football Club during the first quarter of the Round 7 match in the 2016/17 TIO NTFL Division 2 game between Jabiru Football Club and PINT Football Club at TIO Stadium on Sunday 20 November. In summary, Hill was found not guilty.
