TIO NTFL MATCH REVIEW PANEL
FULL STATEMENT: 2016/17 TIO NTFL SEASON

AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed all matches played in Round 6 of the 2016/17 TIO NTFL Season.
The following charges have been laid:
MEN’S PREMIER LEAGUE
William Farrer, Southern Districts Football Club, has been charged with rough conduct, during the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League match between Wanderers and Southern Districts at TIO Stadium on Saturday 12 November 2016.
Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and high contact resulting in a two-match suspension.
In summary, Farrer can accept a one-match penalty as an early guilty plea.
Alexander Johnson, Palmerston Football Club, has been charged with forceful front-on contact, during the second quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Premier League match between Palmerston and St Mary’s at Asbuild Oval on Sunday 13 November 2016.
Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as careless, medium impact and high contact resulting in a two-match suspension.
In summary, Johnson can accept a one-match penalty as an early guilty plea.
MEN’S DIVISION ONE
Peter Bowey, Banks Football Club, has been charged with rough conduct, during the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division One match between Darwin Buffaloes and Banks Bulldogs at TIO Oval 2 on Saturday 12 November 2016.
Based on the umpire’s report, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, medium impact and high contact resulting in a three-match suspension.
In summary, Bowey can accept a two-match penalty as an early guilty plea.
MEN’S DIVISION TWO
Ben Loverock, Waratah Football Club, has been charged with striking, during the second quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division Two match between Banks and Waratah at TIO Oval 2 on Saturday 12 November 2016.
Based on the umpire’s report, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and high contact resulting in a two-match suspension.
In summary, Loverock can accept a one-match penalty as an early guilty plea.
Stewart Carr, Nightcliff Football Club, has been charged with striking, during the first quarter of the TIO NTFL Men’s Division Two match between PINTS FC and Nightcliff at Gardens Oval on Sunday 13 November 2016.
Based on the umpire’s report, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and high contact resulting in a two-match suspension.
In summary, Carr can accept a one-match penalty as an early guilty plea.
