AFL Northern Territory in conjunction with the Central Australian Football League is deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Alice Springs based umpire, Paul Leggett.

AFL Northern Territory in conjunction with the Central Australian Football League is deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Alice Springs based umpire, Paul Leggett. Mr Leggett had been a CAFL umpire since 2014 after moving to Central Australia from Victoria, where he had been umpiring football since 2006. Mr Leggett was known to be a dedicated, respectful and approachable umpire who would explain his decisions in great detail to the players. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends, as well as his school colleagues and fellow umpires. The Northern Territory Football League umpires will all wear black armbands in a show of respect during Round 12 NTFL games this weekend.
