BEN RIOLI AND THOMAS MOTLOP SIGN FOR NT THUNDER

The Northern Territory Football Club is pleased to announce the re signing of star defender Ben Rioli (St Mary’s) and the new signing of Thomas Motlop (Wanderers) for the 2015 NEAFL season.

Player profiles:
Ben Rioli, 21 years old from the St Mary’s Football Club. Highly skilled running defender that enjoys carrying the ball through the midfield, turning defence into attack. Added a few goals to his tally in 2014 before suffering a serious concussion that lead to a six week recovery period. Well respected and enthusiastic character of the football club who has now racked up 42 games since making his senior debut in 2012. Expected to reach the 50 game milestone in 2015.
Thomas Motlop, 27 years old from the Wanderers Football Club. Traditionally plays up forward as an explosive Flank or Pocket however has since been moved to defence with great success adding to his versatility and strength as an all rounded player. Good reader of the player and tough to beat in a one on one contest. First debuted for NT Thunder in 2009 under inaugural coach Michael McLean. Expected to have a big impact on the NEAFL competition in 2015.
