NT Thunder Player Survey seeks player feedback

NT Thunder Player Survey seeks player feedback

As part of its information gathering process, the recently formed Review Panel,

established to review and make recommendations on the existing NT Thunder player movement rule, is seeking feedback from 2011 and 2012 NT Thunder contracted players to ensure their opinions and experience are considered in any final recommendation.
The players have been asked to complete a survey which asks them their views on the existing 25 game movement rule and the interim 28 game movement rule, as well as invites them to put forward other options for consideration. Players are also asked to say what impact the rule has had on their playing career, and what their own preferences are with regard who they play for – NT Thunder, a local club or both.
The confidential on-line survey does not require players to identify themselves when they submit their completed survey.
Chair and spokesperson for the panel, Mr Steve Rossingh, said the prime outcome seeking to be achieved by the panel is to devise a fair and equitable system for player movement for all stakeholders, with player welfare the highest priority.
"The on-line survey is a way for contracted 2011 and 2012 NT Thunder players to give their point of view and preferences confidentially.
"The panel will not know who has put forward what responses, as the survey results will be presented by the survey manager, in a format which offers data analysis of the responses only."
Mr Rossingh said as well as the player survey, the panel was continuing to collect leading sports science data, and was on track to finalise its recommendations at the end of January for the AFLNT Board.
