AFLNT in conjunction with AFL Central Australia is seeking expressions of interest in the positions of Senior Coach & Under 17 Coach with Rovers Football Club.

Rovers Football Club are desperately seeking expressions of interest for a Senior and Under 17 coach for the 2012 CAFL season. Club President Rob Clarke explains that the club finished the season as A Grade Runners Up in 2011, while the Under 17 were premiers for the 2nd year running. Rob is hoping the club can find the right person to take their A grade side that extra step in 2012 and continue the development of their junior players.
"We really do have a terrific mix of junior and senior players at present. I am really excited about the direction the club is heading over the next few years." said Clarke.

The Rovers Football Club prides itself on being a welcoming club for all and would love to hear from people from all walks of the community, including people from interstate.
"I know there are some great local people in Central Australia but outsiders are also welcome to apply. Alice Springs is a wonderful place to live and visit, and I am sure we could assist somebody from another state who is contemplating a move to the Northern Territory in settling in and becoming involved in football. We want to keep our options open and would love to hear from anyone interested", explained Clarke.

The club is currently undertaking pre season training under the guidance of Rob, who is also the NT Thunder coach for Central Australia. While happy to take the reins for the time being Rob would love to get the right person into the coaching positions as soon as possible so that he can focus on developing the club in other areas.
"There really are some exciting things happening with the Rovers Football Club, and football in general in Central Australia. I urge anyone who is even slightly interested in the position to give me a call."
