The final day of Youth Week celebrations in Tennant Creek saw two teams take part in an AFL Carnival on Saturday.
The YDU Demons took on the Tennant Creek High school in 2 matches. Unfortunately due to travel difficulties other teams were not able to make the journey.
The High School won both games, however the standard showed by both teams was fantastic and should be a great indication for the upcoming underage season.
YDU’s Dennis Clegg and the High schools’ Corey McDoull were awarder with Leadership trophies during the presentation as both displayed outstanding leadership and sportsmanship qualities for the carnival. The 2 best players for the carnival were Phillip O’Keefe for the High School and Leeson Dickenson for YDU.
