In response to the increasing interest surrounding the 2009/10 TIO NTFL Seatbelts Save Lives Grand Final where record crowds are expected this Saturday at TIO Stadium to witness history being made as the reigning premiers St Mary’s take on Minor Premiers, the Tiwi Bombers.
"The NT is consumed with footy fever and due to unprecedented levels of interest in Saturdays historic Grand Final AFLNT is advising patrons to get to the ground early," said AFLNT CEO Tony Frawley.
"In response to the expected record number of patrons expected to attend TIO Stadium AFLNT request that fans arrive as early as possible. Patrons arriving late risk delays at the turnstile and will miss the pre-game festivities. AFLNT also expects all available grandstand seating to be snapped up early in the day as there is no reserved seating available."
"AFLNT has also retained the services of numerous extra staff to increase it’s vending capacity in anticipation of huge demand for food and beverages."
"Due to last years Grand Final we have decided to open both the Bonson and Ah Mat Gates to cover the increased demand,"
