AFLNT CONTRIBUTE TO TIO’s RDH BURNS UNIT

After the horrific firebomb attack on the TIO Branch in Darwin’s CBD just over three weeks ago AFL Northern Territory and the Northern Territory Football Club have donated $2500 to the TIO Royal Darwin Hospital Burns Service Appeal.

AFL Ambassador Michael Long presented the cheque on behalf of AFLNT to TIO CEO Richard Harding at TIO Headquarters on Mitchell Street today.

"TIO are our major sponsor and big supporters of football in the Territory," said AFLNT CEO Tony Frawley.

"Some of our staff bank at the branch and knew some of the people affected by the attacks on that tragic day and we are only too happy to contribute to such a worthy  cause."

TIO CEO Richard Harding was delighted to receive the donation from AFLNT and advised that the fundraising effort has now reached $63,000 .
