All the match day information for the Toyota AFL Premiership Season Round 18 game between Melbourne and the West Coast Eagles at TIO Traeger Park in Alice Springs on Sunday 21 July 2019 at 2.50pm ACST.

Club Training Sessions on Saturday 20 July 2019

Melbourne: 3.00pm

Buy Tickets

Can be purchased online at www.ntix.com.au or from the Speed Street Gate at TIO Traeger Park on game day if there is still availability. (EFTPOS facilities available)

Tickets will also be available for purchase at Yeperenye Centre on the following date and times:
 
Thursday 18 July:  12pm – 2pm
Friday 19 July:  12pm – 2pm
Saturday 20 July:  12pm – 2pm

As part of the AFL and Woolworths Sunday Funday, children 14 years and under are able to pick up a free general admission ticket from the NTix website. No entry will be granted without a ticket.

Ticket Collection and Disability Access

Game day ticket collection is from the Speed Street Gate only.

Disability seating is accessible in front of the AFL administration office adjacent to the grandstand, these are on a first come, first served basis.

In the interest of public safety, all patrons entering the ground will be subject to security and bag checks. There will be separate queues for those who wish to purchase tickets (subject to availability) and those who do not have bags or do not require a bag check. Please follow the instructions of TIO Traeger Park staff and security and allow plenty of time to enter the ground and pass through the checks.  

Gates

Gap Road opens 10:30am for pre-purchased ticket entry only
Speed Street opens 10:30am for ticket sales (pending availability) and pre-purchased entry

Curtain-raiser and NT Thunder VFLW game

Round 11 VFLW – Saturday 20 July – 5:30pm – NT Thunder vs Casey Demons at TIO Traeger Par. Tickets are available at the gate, $7 for adults and $2 for children. 

Curtain-raiser to AFL – Sunday 21 July – 11:10am – Centralian Redtails vs Top End Storm at TIO Traeger Park. A valid AFL game entry ticket is required for access to this game.

Centralian Redtails vs Top End Storm curtain-raiser match – 11.10am
Cultural ceremony –  2:00pm
Melbourne run on –  2:36pm
West Coast Eagles run on –  2:39pm
Coin toss –  2:48pm

Auskick – Half time

Kick 2 Kick for fans – After the second siren at the completion of the AFL game

Traffic Management

Changes to regular traffic conditions will be in place on game day, with congestion expected in the area of Gap Road from approximately 1:00pm.

AFLNT recommends early arrival to secure close parking in the match precinct. Council rangers often patrol these areas on game day, so please park legally.

Public Transport

Please note Alice Springs does not run a public bus service on Sundays so patrons are encouraged to plan ahead.

Public Toilets

The public access toilet block is located behind the grandstand adjacent to the baseball field.

Public access toilets are also available at the southern end of the facility next to NT Cricket.

Corporate guests have access to toilets in Lasseters on the Mound and behind the corporate tents at ground level.

AFL Record

AFL Records are available for purchase at all gates - $5.00 per record.

Lift Access

There is one lift available for Mona’s and grandstand access for those with the correct ticketing in the match day official zone between the grandstand and the AFLNT admin office.

Food & Beverage

  • Kiosk will be open from 11:30am near Speed Street Gate.
  • Scoreboard kiosk from 11:30am at the northern end.
  • Southern bar from 2:30pm at Speed Street end.
  • Northern bar from 2:30pm.
  • Mezzanine bar and snacks from 2:30pm.
  • Corporate areas as per ticketing information.

ATMs

No ATMs are available; however, EFTPOS is available at all food and beverage outlets and getting cash out is permitted.

Family Friendly Area

Located on the Gap Road wing. Note: there is strictly no alcohol available for purchase or permitted in the area. 

Auskick

Halftime NAB AFL Auskick participants are to meet near the northern end of the CAFL clubrooms by 1.15pm latest to receive instructions and information.

Arena Access

Patrons are reminded, there is no patron access to the playing arena on the completion of the match between Centralian Redtails and Top End Storm.

Following the Melbourne vs West Coast Eagles fixture, Kick 2 Kick for all patrons will occur after the second siren.

Smoking

TIO Traeger Park is a smoke-free venue; however, a smoking area is available at the northern end next to the Gap Road gate. Penalties may apply to those smoking in the venue.
